About Chef Ron Bilaro

Ron Bilaro is an experienced chef, television presenter, and social media influencer. Since graduating from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago under Le Cordon Blue Program in 2001, Chef Ron has worked as a private chef for prominent clients all over the country, including working under Art Smith, private chef to Oprah Winfrey.;

Chef Ron is proud of his Filipino heritage and works to promote Filipino cuisine. He has written a Chicago Tribune column for 3 years, hosted cooking programs on The Filipino Channel, and hosts live cooking demonstrations on his wildly popular social media channels. Ron currently lives in Chicago, IL.

Raba Cookware was created as a partnership between Chef Ron and New Era. After successfully promoting Heritage Steel cookware for a number of years and listening to customer feedback, Chef Ron and New Era worked together to create a line of low-moisture, low-heat cookware that was affordable and effective.
